ROLLTEC® ready-made repair pits are self-bearing, high-strength steel structures, without concrete filling at the sides. They are thermally insulated and partly cold galvanised. They are used to service all types of vehicles, in every length and width, including railway cars.
The ROLLTEC® range feature four basic types:
- Basic model for all types of vehicles in every length and width.
- Various additional models incl. fixed or inlaid aluminium floors, side bays, brake test beds, oil drainage, lifting systems etc.
- Options for automatic roller covers able to be walked or driven over.
- Special executions for rail cars, side pits, likewise with automatic covers.

An automatic roller cover, as described in the drawing, brings a lot more comfort and safety into your workplace. In addition, you save considerably on heating costs. The system can be driven over with an axle loading of up to 13 t.
Normal execution with a drive width of 1000 mm, a working width of 1500 mm and a working height of 1400 mm. Although the most common model is a service unit, it can be modified to meet particular requirements.
This special model was developed especially for trains and trams and meets all the particular requirements in this sector. Inspected by the German Bundesbahn, this execution conforms to the most stringent standards.
